Purpose
This Cohort is designed to seek out, gather and develop the Next Generation of Great Commission Researchers. The Great Commission Research Network has discipleship at its core. For one year, this cohort will meet monthly with some of the leading Thinkers in church growth, evangelism, church health, global missions, culture and other related fields. The cohort will be comprised of rising thought leaders with a heart of serving the Church in order to develop synergy and relationships with the goal of transforming the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
IF SELECTED FOR THIS YEAR LONG COHORT,
YOU WILL RECEIVE

--> Free registration for the 2025 Great Commission Research Network Conference as well as free registration for the conference Exponential Global with follows immediately after.
--> A monthly Cohort Zoom meeting with an expert in various fields.
--> Encouragement to submit your research for publication in the Great Commission Research Journal with coaching to make it through the peer review process.
--> An invitation to the 2026 Great Commission Research Network National Conference in Orlando to present your research.
--> Proximity to some of the leading thinkers and researcher in Great Commission research.
--> Opportunity to develop relationships in a Cohort of other like minded rising leaders.
--> This can be done in conjunction with a PhD or DMin if your Dissertation Advisor is interested in collaborating.
--> Cohort dates: March 2025 -through March 2026.

CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTS
--> Passion for equipping the Church to fulfill the great commission through the latest research on evangelism, culture, church growth, church health, missions and church planting.
--> Agreement with the National Association of Evangelicals statement of faith.
--> Personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
--> Participation in a local church.
--> Recent writing sample.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW MUCH DOES THIS COHORT COST?
If you are accepted to the cohort. The only cost would be your flight to Orlando for the national conference in March.
WHAT ARE THE DATES OF THE COHORT?
The Cohort would launch March 17, 2025 and end one year later at the 2026 Great Commission Research Network National Conference.
WILL THIS GUARANTEE PUBLICATION?
While we cannot guarantee it, you will receive coaching and advise on research and then you can submit your article to go through our peer review process.
DO I NEED TO CURRENTLY BE IN A DOCTORAL PROGRAM?
No. This Cohort is open to anyone. A doctoral program would help in the process but this is open to those who are simply passionate about research, writing and the Great Commission.
WHAT WILL THE MONTHLY RHYTHM BE?
We will have a monthly zoom call. It will be a time to hear from a thought leader on different subjects throughout the year. We will also have time of prayer and encouragement for one another as a group building in synergy and fellowship around common mission.
